On the occasion of the World Day of the Sick, which we will celebrate on 11 February 2012, the memorial of Our Lady of Lourdes, I wish to renew my spiritual closeness to all sick people pchome shopping who are in places of care or are cared for in families, each expressing the solicitude and affection of the whole Church. Loving and generous acceptance of all human life, especially pchome shopping the weak and sick, the Christian expresses an important aspect of their witness to the Gospel, following the example of Christ, who leaned pchome shopping on the material and spiritual suffering of man to heal.
1. In this year, which is the nearest to the preparation Solemn World Day of the Sick will be celebrated in Germany on 11 February 2013 and will focus on the emblematic figure of the Gospel of the Samaritan (cf. Lk 10.29 to 37), I would like to emphasize the "sacraments of healing" that is, on the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation, and the Anointing of the Sick, which have their natural completion in Eucharistic Communion.
The meeting of Jesus with the ten lepers, narrated in the Gospel of St. Luke (cf. Lk 17.11 to 19), in particular the words which the Lord speaks to one of these, "Rise and go '; your faith has saved you "(v. 19), help to become aware of the importance of faith for those who, burdened by suffering and illness, are close to the Lord. In the encounter with Him can truly experience that he who believes is never alone! In fact, God in His Son, does not abandon us to our anguish and sufferings, but is close to us, it helps us to take them and want to heal deep in our heart (cf. Mk 2: 1-12).
