Economy redemptions usually aren't good value, unless you're doing last minute or obscure domestic routes. Best off using them for business/first tucson mall hours class flights (esp. round the world) or upgrades, you're looking at a value of 1.5c per point at the bare minimum.

apparently we (woolworths emplyees) can only salary sacrifice to get the deal. still not sure if it cheaper than this posted deal… im going OS next year so am contemplating doing it, but not sure which deal to go for.

Don't be angry, just ask your employer. The rate for defence 4 years ago was $180/yr but i'm sure it's gone up since then but no where near this stupid tucson mall hours rate. Corporate rates are as common as credit cards that offer the QFF points.
About 6 years ago, it was $125/yr tucson mall hours or $250 for 2 years. 10 years ago, Qantas Club was worth it, but now not - food is barely satisfactory, not enough hot food, often overcrowded and hard to find quiet seating, etc
Even @ $470, you'd want to be making a return flight every few weeks or a few OS flights to make it worth while. It is good to have somewhere to top up before a jetstar flight & a shower before heading going home.
I remember a 2 year for one deal that I bought a while ago, wish that came back.
